The implementation of the Solvay organization principles has lead led to the reorganization of the its Finance and HR processes. It started with Executive Committee decisions and continued with the 3S project: a Shared Services Center that would serve the Group in Finance and Human Resources.
After a period of studies, benchmarking and analysis at various levels, the decision to implement 3S Solvay Shared Services Center in Lisbon was a reality. On the 1st September 2005 the company was officially created.
