3S Solvay Shared Services was created as a result of the implementation of the Solvay Group Organization Principles.
Following the Executive Committee's decision to restructure the Group's Financial and Human Resources Processes, the 3S Project took place: the creation of a Shared Services Center that would deliver Financial and Human Resources Services to the Solvay Group entities.
After conducting a thorough research and analysis of several variables, the decision to launch 3S Solvay Shared Services Center in Lisbon became a reality and the company was officially created on the 1st of September, 2005.
Solvay 3S today employs over 350 professionals and delivers its services to about 120 Solvay companies in more than 40 countries worldwide.
